Myself and daughter mid twenties recently stayed (Oct 18-22/2022) This place was super. Whole building is perfectly maintained and incredibly clean. We also found it very quiet and we certainly kept in mind that others live in this building. The apartment was spotless as well. Everything you need is provided, including heated bathroom floor! Staff was available by phone 24 hours and when we realized that our converter would not work I called to ask if they could tell me the closest place to purchase to which they responded they would have someone bring us one! They actually delivered two. There is also laundry facilities available in building and that was fantastic as we had been traveling for 14 days by the time we arrived. There is a small grocery store about block away as well. The number 11 tram literally stops right in front of the building and approx 15 minutes to main train station. Also about three stops away you can catch train to airport - approx 25 minutes. Trains and trams are so easy and clean. It is a very quiet part except for the traffic building faces busy street - which is why the tram is so close! That is the only drawback- as we found it quiet warm (as Canadian ) but left the windows open during the day and by evening it was good. When you travel to Europe you should be aware that lot of places do not have AC. I would highly recommend this City Stay and would certainly stay here again. Photos on their site are very accurate. This apartment fulfilled all our NEEDS - in our (6) six days stay, in glorious Zurich. We are apartment global travels. Tram 11 stop - outside of front door - which takes you to and from the main shopping "strip" and the Hauptbahnhof Zurich. Public Transport system of Zurich - is VERY user friendly and service frequency - EXCELLENT. Supermarket practically across the strass The internal apartment facilities cleanlieness, staff attitude - manners & courtesy - First Class 5 Star Rating. Washing machine & dryer - located in ground level laundry room - additional bonus at personal cost, for guests use. Balcony - to our front of strass - Delightful, and double glazing of windows made apartment in the sleeping hours without interuption, caused by Noise. We will return, from our home in Budapest,Hungary - sooner than later.…

I travelled to Zurich from Canada to attend an international private event. I referred City Stay to a colleague who was also attending this event travelling from the US. Upon arrival, my friend/colleague was advised via text by City Stay that she could not stay in her room due to an active COVID case of a family in quarantine remaining in the room which had been assigned to her . We conferred with our hosts and fellow travellers attending this event and was advised by all to not risk exposure and hence to definitely not stay at this hotel once City Stay management officially declared that a family of travellers were not allowed to leave the accommodation as they had to remain on site in the hotel due to quarantine. As there is no on site check in or security personnel to enforce the quarantine, I was advised by all to not check in. My travelling companion eventually had her hotel charge reimbursed but I was flatly refused by management. I spoke to a manager who was completely and totally unprofessional and nothing less than hysterical on the phone - actually YELLING/SCREAMING on the phone launching into a diatribe "COVID IS EVERYWHERE....EVERYWHERE on the street, in Migros, on the tram etc EVERYWHERE" so, my staying at City Stay would be no different and hence I would not be reimbursed for my cancellation though City Stay had declared that there was an active covid quarantine case on site and cancelled and reimbursed my travelling colleague's booking. Completely and totally unprofessional and shared with my fellow attendees who all felt that accepting the booking at a site where there was a CONFIRMED active case of COVID was a risk I should not expose myself and hence my group to. Very unhappy and taken aback with managements' angry - approaching raging- unprofessional irrational response.…

I have been staying in the 009 apartment (kitchen, living room and bedroom) for 3 weeks for precautious quarantine reasons before entering Italy. Our situation was quite complicated, we were moving from Brazil, loads of luggage, with a dog, 7 months pregnant and both of us in smart working. We initially choose the hotel because of the garden and the excellent review on the wifi connection that we needed to be able to work. We had difficulties with the payment from booking with our Brazilian credit card and the hotel staff was so nice and accommodating and give us the bank transfer details so we could pay via bank transfer. That was the first sign of how nice the staff was to us. Then during our stay, I had loads of difficulties sleeping (pregnancy-related issues, nothing to do with the place that was absolutely above our expectations) and I asked for 2 extra blanket and a couple of extra pillows, also here the staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating. The access to the garden has saved us during the initial quarantine period, the dog loved it and when there was sunshine I really enjoyed it as well. The position of the hotel is absolutely fantastic as the metro station is in 0 min walk from the hotel door and you can just walk to the city centre in 20 min or to the lake side in 20 min as well. The apartment we chose was an expensive one but worth it for our comfort and situation, furniture is new and the kitchen perfectly functional (also coffee machine was Nespresso compatible and really appreciated). My only problem during the stay was the internet connection (maybe due to covid restrictions many more people stay indoors and the line did not quite make it). As I said I needed it for work reasons (zoom calls, meetings and lessons) and in our apartment we had a good enough signal only in the kitchen and only before 7 pm (but I was working on a 5 hours time zone difference, so my meetings went even to 21.30 pm). It was even difficult to use Whatsapp in those hours and god forbid youtube or Netflix. For entertainment, I suggest you download Netflix stuff on your device before 6 pm and then just watch that when the line does not work in the evening. I do not know if this was a problem due to the covid restrictions, the position of our apartment or a momentary issue as this hotel was rated 9.2/10 for internet connection when I choose it on booking. To end on a more positive note, cleaning staff all speak English and are absolutely gentle, kind and competent! Totally recommend the experience if you can afford it!…

We stayed here for 2 nights for a short stay in Zürich. We had some difficulties with the self check-in. It would have been easier if all information was provided before arriving in Zürich. The apartment itself was provided with all the things you need. During the nights the neighbours were a bit noisy, however in general we enjoyed our stay.

We lived in this apartment for two months. Everything was fine, we didn't encounter any problems. The apartment is not very big, but it has everything necessary including fully equiped kitchen with dish-washer. Washing machines are based on the ground floor and are coin operated. There is a grocery store almost opposite the hotel. The backyard is pretty quiet area. It's 20 minutes walk from Bellvue area. The tram stop is in front of the hotel. The tram #11 goes to train station through the city center every 5-8 minutes.
